Risk markers carried in the record

No park-it or park-outside warning is flagged in this vehicle's collected record. This does not establish that the vehicle is defect-free or that every notice is included.

The markers above summarize fields available in this dataset. A missing marker is not a safety finding. Recall status and remedy eligibility can depend on vehicle identification number, equipment, production date, and whether a repair has already been completed.

Recall distribution by component

3 component categories

Counts and shares use the vehicle-level recall records shown below. The horizontal bar is scaled to the largest category on this page.
ComponentCampaignsShareRelative volume
POWER TRAIN133.3%
VISIBILITY133.3%
SEAT BELTS133.3%

Component labels follow the source record's component field. Where the source includes a more detailed subcomponent after a colon, this distribution groups the record under the first component segment. Shares are calculated against 3 campaigns and rounded to one decimal place, so displayed percentages may not sum to exactly 100 percent.

Recall dates by calendar year

1 calendar years

These are recall notice dates, not vehicle model years.
Calendar yearCampaignsRelative volume
20113

The timeline groups campaign records by their reported recall date. This explains why the date range (2011–2011) can begin before or end after model year 2011. The underlying vehicle may be covered by notices issued in several different calendar years.

Summary
THINK NORTH AMERICA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 THINK CITY VEHICLES. THE LINKAGE CONNECTING THE GEAR SHIFT SELECTOR LEVER AND THE TRANSMISSION PARK MECHANISM MAY BE IMPROPERLY ADJUSTED, RESULTING IN LACK OF ENGAGEMENT OF THE PARK PAWL OF THE TRANSMISSION. THIS COULD RESULT IN THE VEHICLE FAILING TO HOLD WHEN THE GEAR SHIFT SELECTOR LEVER IS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION.

Consequence
THE VEHICLE COULD FAIL TO HOLD IN PARK POSITION AND COULD ROLL FREELY INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH OR INJURY TO A PERSON IN THE PATH OF THE MOVING VEHICLE.

Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND MAKE THE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS AND REPAIRS TO THE VEHICLES FREE OF CHARGE. THE MANUFACTURER HAS NOT YET PROVIDED AN OWNER NOTIFICATION SCHEDULE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT THINK'S AUTHORIZED TOLL FREE SERVICE LINE AT 855-698-4465.

Summary
THINK NORTH AMERICA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 THINK CITY VEHICLES. POOR PERFORMANCE IN THE VEHICLES" FLUID HEATER ASSEMBLIES COULD CAUSE THE HEATER-DEFROSTER SYSTEM OF THE VEHICLE TO FAIL TO PERFORM PROPERLY RESULTING IN LOSS OF ITS ABILITY TO CLEAR THE WINDSHIELD IN COLD OR HUMID CONDITIONS.

Consequence
THIS COULD IMPAIR THE DRIVER'S ABILITY TO VIEW THE ROAD AHEAD, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Remedy
DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND, IF NEEDED, REPLACE THE DEFROSTER SYSTEM FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2011. OWNERS MAY CONTACT THINK'S AUTHORIZED TOLL FREE SERVICE LINE AT 1-855-698-4465.

Summary
THINK NORTH AMERICA IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 THINK CITY VEHICLES FOR FAILING TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 208, "OCCUPANT CRASH PROTECTION." THE SEAT BELTS MAY HAVE BEEN INCORRECTLY INSTALLED. AS A RESULT, A CHILD RESTRAINT SYSTEM USED IN THE PASSENGER SEATING POSITION MAY NOT BE POSITIONED OR RETAINED PROPERLY.

Consequence
THE SEAT BELT MAY NOT RESTRAIN THE CHILD AS INTENDED DURING NORMAL VEHICLE OPERATION OR DURING A CRASH, INCREASING THE RISK OF INJURY.

Remedy
DEALER WILL INSPECT, REINSTALL OR, IF NEEDED, REPLACE THE VEHICLE'S SEAT BELTS. THIS SERVICE WILL BE PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE. THE SAFETY RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2011. THINK'S AUTHORIZED TOLL FREE SERVICE LINE AT 855-698-4465.

How 2011 Think Think City compares within Think

1 listed 2011 model-year records

Other collected Think records for model year 2011.
VehicleCampaignsDate range
No other Think model-year record is present in this dataset.

This comparison is calculated from vehicle records for the same make and model year in this snapshot. It is a simple arithmetic average, not an industry benchmark. A model may appear under more than one configuration in the source data, and campaign counts do not indicate the probability that a specific vehicle has an unresolved defect.

Data source and interpretation

NHTSA Office of Defects Investigation, retrieved 2026-11-01. Recall records reflect manufacturer reports submitted to NHTSA. Absence of a recall here does not mean a vehicle is defect-free.

This page reports 3 campaign records, groups them into 3 component categories, and places the notice dates into these calendar years: 2011: 3. These are derived views of the supplied records, not additional findings from NHTSA.

The collection includes model-year records with one or more recalls. It is not a complete vehicle history, VIN eligibility result, repair-status check, safety rating, or guarantee that the source has no later updates. Confirm current campaign details and vehicle applicability with official NHTSA information and the manufacturer.
